The Linear Tables
LINEACHESS includes a unique evaluation style derived from the playing patterns of all 16 undisputed World Chess Champions. The Linear piece-square tables were extracted from 37,000 master games and scaled into engine evaluation weights. Switch between PeSTO and Linear to change the engine's personality. The Linear engine plays aggressively and favours piece activity.
